Hi there, I’m so glad you’ve arrived, my name is Rajuno Eteng.  

Goals:

My goal is to make life easier for as many Sonographers and Radiographers who trained in Nigeria that choose to continue or pursue their professional careers in the UK. 

Who I am:

• I have a combined radiography and sonography career of close to a decade.

• I've been a sonographer in the UK for about 5 years, with a PGD in ultrasound from Nigeria and an MSc in ultrasound from UK. 

• My current specialities include abdomen, gynae, testis and lower limb vascular ultrasound. 

• Experienced in the auditing of sonographers' scans, in the training and supervision of sonographer students and Radiology registrars. 

• A Nigerian-trained professional who understands and can relate to the struggles and challenges of fellow Nigerian professional moving to the UK. 

I have therefore created The Naija UK Sonographer to provide tips and 'how-to' tutorials to help you navigate through your professional journey in the UK as Sonographer or Radiographer from Nigeria.
